Just a short note to thank you and your committee and all those responsible for the beautiful 9/11 ceremony last week. I was indeed humbled to be one of the honorees at this year’s Saracini-O’Neill Memorial Ceremony. Please pass on my sincere appreciation and gratitude for this honor. I am displaying the encased flag at a prominent place in my home. It will be a constant, visible reminder of those brave Americans who both lost and gave their lives on 11 Sep 2001. A day we shall never forget!
And a big thanks to you and Bob Frolow and all those patriotic veterans and “first responders” of Ventnor and Atlantic City who so nobly served and continue to serve our nation. They are the best!
With warm regards,

Dear Bob & Pam:
It was my honor to join you at the annual Saracini-O’Neill Atlantic City 9/11 Memorial as we remembered the 2,996 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and specifically those from our own community, including Victor Saracini, John O’Neill, Andrew Alameno and Patricia Cody. This event helps ensure that none of them will ever be forgotten. It is also an opportunity to acknowledge the dedicated first responders who put the safety and welfare of others before their own.
Over the nine years you have held this event at Jackson Avenue and the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, it has grown from 25 attendees to nearly 500 and now features distinguished speakers and honorees, the Atlantic City Police Department honor guard, the Atlantic City Sandpipers Pipes and Drums, a three round Civil War cannon volley and a 40-ton sand sculpture, against the backdrop of a 30’ x 60’ American flag suspended between two ladder trucks.
On behalf of our citizens, you have our sincere gratitude and appreciation for helping to create this solemn memorial and coordinate this important annual event, “Lest We Forget.”

Sufficient funds are needed to produce a quality annual memorial worthy of our cause. Currently, memorial funding is generated by volunteers and friends. In order for our organization to exist in the long term, we need a sound funding solution.
